Since Bas joined Capgemini’s Business Innovation Team within Consulting Services he has done projects in MRD, chemicals & life sciences, banking, education, utilities, travel, and telecommunications. Main topics in his projects are innovation strategy, blue ocean, and business model innovation.
Besides his projects he has brought together different types of companies in order to come to new products or services.
Within Capgemini Consulting Services the Business Innovation team was founded mid of 2006. The team’s mission is to enable clients to boost their innovative performance and the execution of their innovations, meanwhile accelerating the pace of the whole innovation process. The Business Innovation Team helps clients to find their answer to questions regarding the what, when, with who, and how of innovation.
Before joining Capgemini Bas has worked within the marketing and sales field at Consilium, a reseller of business process automation software. He was involved in key projects, such as quality management of education at the University of Amsterdam, creating a new fine for the police force Rotterdam-Rijnmond which is digitally processed (nominated for the Innovation Award “Pinguins kunnen vliegen” in the public sector).
Bas has a background in Business Administration, Master Management of Innovation from RSM Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
